The Full Beach Experience YouTube Doesn’t Want You to See

If you’ve followed our beach walk videos on YouTube, you probably already know what we’re about—real, unfiltered views of some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, especially around Barcelona. Our goal has always been simple: to share the atmosphere, sights, and sounds of Mediterranean life in the most authentic way possible, giving you a genuine walking experience from the comfort of your screen.

But YouTube has constantly made that mission harder.

Despite our videos being educational, documentary-style footage of public beaches, and despite our clear efforts to edit and contextualise every upload to comply with platform guidelines, many of our videos have been restricted or outright removed. Why? Because in Spain—and much of Europe—topless sunbathing is not only common, it’s culturally normal. It’s not provocative. It’s not staged. It’s not meant for sexual gratification. It’s just part of life here.

We’ve gone out of our way to blur, crop, or avoid any scenes that might cause issues, but even distant or incidental glimpses of topless sunbathers—just everyday people enjoying the sun—have been enough to trigger takedowns. Why should an accurate, respectful depiction of European beach culture be censored when it should be celebrated?

So, we made a decision.

This website is home to the full Barcelona beach experience, with no algorithm deciding what’s appropriate based on a narrow cultural lens. Here, you’ll find the full-length walks, just as they happened: the soft golden sand underfoot, the sounds of waves lapping against the shore, and yes—the real-life, relaxed vibe of the Mediterranean beach lifestyle.

These videos aren’t about controversy. They’re about clarity. They’re about showing the world what life is really like on the beaches of Spain—families, friends, locals, and tourists alike, all soaking in the sun, sharing a space, and enjoying some of the most beautiful coastlines Europe has to offer.

We’re proud to share these walks with you. And we’re even prouder to do it on our terms—uncensored, respectful, and real.

We also want to be transparent about something important.
Providing our own hosting, streaming, and website maintenance comes with real costs—and since we’re no longer eligible for revenue through YouTube’s Partner Program, we’ve had to find other ways to keep things running.
