As of August 2026, the library includes more than 170 4K beach walks and more than 50 interactive 360 walks, with additional videos already being prepared.
Older videos aren’t routinely removed to make room for new ones, so the archive continues to grow.
Most of the collection has been filmed around Barcelona and Catalunya, with additional destinations being introduced gradually.

There is no artificial weekly upload quota.
New walks are added as they’re filmed, edited and ready to publish. We’d rather add one properly filmed beach walk than chase a promise to upload a certain number of lower-quality videos every week.
Your membership therefore isn’t based on waiting for the next upload. It gives you immediate access to an already extensive archive, with new walks added over time.

4K Beach Walks are conventional high-resolution videos where you watch the walk as it was filmed.
360 Beach Walks are interactive. You can look around during the walk and choose where to direct your view rather than being limited to a fixed camera angle.
The combined membership gives you access to both libraries.
We’re also expanding the 360 collection considerably as more viewers become familiar with the format

Bear Beach Walks videos are streamed through Vimeo and work across most modern devices, including Windows and Mac computers, iPhone and iPad, Android phones and tablets, compatible smart TVs and streaming devices, and modern web browsers.
Interactive 360 playback depends on the capabilities of the device and browser you’re using.
A good internet connection is recommended for the highest available video quality.

Membership videos don’t contain third-party advertising interruptions.
You may occasionally see suggestions to watch another Bear Beach Walks video, but we don’t interrupt the walks with advertising.
We looked at advertising and decided it would damage the viewing experience far more than it would improve the site.

No. Membership provides streaming access while your membership is active.
Videos aren’t currently available for download.

Some edited Bear Beach Walks videos are also available publicly on YouTube, but the membership site contains the much wider video archive and our growing interactive 360 collection.
The independent website also gives us greater control over how complete walks are presented and allows us to show the beach as it was on that day, rather than relying entirely on the changing policies and restrictions of another platform.

Yes. Monthly and annual memberships automatically renew at the interval shown when you subscribe unless you cancel before the next renewal date.
You can cancel future renewals at any time.
The price and billing period are shown clearly before you complete checkout.

You can normally cancel future renewals through your Bear Beach Walks account dashboard.
Your existing access will continue until the end of the membership period you’ve already paid for.
If the cancellation option isn’t available or something isn’t working correctly, email hello@bear-beach-walks.com before your renewal date and we’ll help take care of it.

Your membership account is associated with the email address you entered when joining.

Yes. Bear Beach Walks does not publish membership lists or make your membership details visible to other members.
You can choose the name used for your Bear Beach Walks account. Other members cannot see your email address, membership details or viewing activity.
If you choose to leave a public comment on the site, the username associated with that comment may be visible.
Payment providers such as PayPal may separately require accurate information to process your payment. Your payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Bear Beach Walks.

Payments are currently securely processed through PayPal.
Eligible customers may also be offered the option to pay using a debit or credit card through PayPal without creating or using a PayPal account.
The exact payment options available can vary by country and PayPal’s checkout system.

Bear Beach Walks is operated through Photography by Bryan, the established UK business behind the project.
The business was originally established for photography work in 2009 and has expanded into other projects over the years, including Bear Beach Walks.
Depending on how your transaction is processed, PayPal may therefore identify Photography by Bryan as the merchant. Your Bear Beach Walks order and invoice will identify the membership you’ve purchased.

The current independent membership website began in 2024, but Bear Beach Walks has a longer history.
We began publishing high-quality beach walk videos in 2021, initially building a substantial audience through YouTube and later a well-supported community on Patreon.
Moving to an independent membership website gave us greater control over the archive, presentation and long-term direction of the project.
Bear Beach Walks is also built on years of living in and exploring the Barcelona area, rather than being a collection assembled from occasional visits.

Bear Beach Walks documents everyday life on Spanish and Mediterranean beaches.
Local beach culture can be different from what visitors are accustomed to elsewhere, and some public beaches include topless sunbathing or designated and informal naturist areas.
We don’t stage those scenes or build videos around them. They’re simply part of the beach environment being documented.
For that reason, Bear Beach Walks membership content is intended for viewers aged 18 or over.
